Paint and colour go hand in hand. After the course in ‘paint and colour’ you will be able to answer questions about colour combinations and how colour can make a room look larger. Colour advice on interior and exterior paintwork... for specialised professionals in paint and paintwork.

Training course in paint and colour

Paint and colour go hand in hand. Once you have determined a paint system for a specific situation, how do you decide what is the right colour? What impact does colour have in a room and how do we perceive colour? How to combine colours.

The course demonstrates how we can use colour to influence the mood or experience of a room. The language of colour is explained using the NCS colour system. Subjects such as colour combinations and the impact of light, form, volume and structure are discussed from this perspective. After completing the course you will have a refreshed professional vision of interior decorating and the built-up areas around you. You will appreciate the composition of colour combinations, colour fan cards and colour palettes.

The theory part is a visual presentation of examples and contrasts which for most of us would go unnoticed in every day life. The course is interactive and we look forward to your own, interesting practical contributions. In the practical section you will apply the learned theory in different exercises.

    Target groups and admission level

The course is for everyone who works with colour: painters, retailers, architects, and other professionals who are involved with colour decisions.

No specific admission requirements. At the end of the day you receive a reference work.
