Vrachtverkeer

Wij kiezen bewust voor innovatieve en duurzame leveranciers die verder kijken dan financieel gewin. Bijvoorbeeld voor het vervoeren van onze verf. Houtman Transport is aangesloten bij Lean and Green. Hiervoor hebben zij moeten aantonen dat ze in 5 jaar tijd 20% CO2 reductie hebben behaald.

We’re committed to working with innovative and sustainable suppliers who care about more than financial gain only. Shipping our paints is an example. Houtman Transport (our delivery-service) is affiliated to Lean and Green. To earn this certification the company has had to achieve a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions over 5 years.

Bamboe fietsen

Van Wijhe Verf heeft twee locaties op fietsafstand van elkaar. Om snel van de ene naar de andere locatie te gaan, zijn twee pendelfietsen aangeschaft. Hierdoor kun je de auto laten staan als je even snel naar de andere locatie moet. Een duurzame oplossing! Er is gekozen voor bamboe fietsen.

Van Wijhe Verf operates from two locations within cycling distance. This is why we have chosen to use commuting bicycles. It allows us to give the car a rest when we need to quickly hop over to the other Van Wijhe Verf location. A sustainable solution using bicycles made from bamboo.

Fietskoeriers

Voor de poststukken is gekozen voor een samenwerking met Cycloon Fietskoeriers. Dit is een duurzame logistieke dienst. Er wordt gereden met Racefietsen, ATB-s, speciale Bullit- transportfietsen en BoB Yak fietskarren. De sportieve sfeer binnen het koeriersteam zorgt ervoor dat schijnbaar onmogelijk oplosbare logistieke vraagstukken in de regio met veel betrouwbaarheid en snelheid worden uitgevoerd.

For postal deliveries Ralston has opted to work with Cycloon Fietskoeriers (Bicycle Couriers), a supplier of sustainable logistic service using Racing bikes, ATBs, special Bullit- transport bikes and BoB Yak bike carts. The jovial and competitive atmosphere in the couriers’ team guarantees that logistic issues which seem impossible can be resolved quickly and dependably.
