The Paint Kitchen in Indonesia

Spring 2007 - Van Wijhe Verf initiated a new overseas adventure: De Verfkeuken (The Paint Kitchen) located in Bandung on the Indonesian island of Java. De Verfkeuken is a multifunctional colour and design centre that was set up around the Ralston brand.

De Verfkeuken is the culmination of intensive cooperation between Van Wijhe Verf and Rajawali Hiyoto, an Indonesian producer of paints.

Used products

De Verfkeuken: The customer is directly involved in the production process of the paints and can produce the exact colour he or she would like. The meaningful slogan that was chosen for the concept was: CREATE your own PAINT

The concept was expanded with extra spaces for the catering industry and child day-care centres, a colour consultancy studio for professional consultations and a library with technical literature on architecture, design and paints.
